Several Caesars properties in vegas are no longer offering parking that is free out-of-state guests. Caesars Entertainment announced this week that the Linq Hotel has officially begun charging site visitors to self-park their automobiles, and tolls will commence at Caesars Palace and Paris nevada in a few days on April 6.
Caesars is caravanning down MGM’s lead in deciding to charge visitors for parking their vehicles at several of its resorts.
Las Vegas may be adjacent to Paradise, Nevada, but the lyrics to the Joni Mitchell song ‘ Big Taxi’ that is yellow are real in Sin City. ‘ They paved utopia, and put up a parking lot,’ perfectly summarizes a growing trend in the gambling mecca of casino operators charging guests simply to reach their resorts.
Linq visitors will be forced to cover $8 a for self-parking night. Caesars Palace, Paris nevada, and Bally’s will charge ten dollars per 24 hours. Valet rates at Caesars Palace, Bally’s, Paris, Planet Hollywood and The Cromwell are a definite flat $18.
Caesars says its decision to charge for parking isn’t a money grab, but in response to its benefits users voicing frustrations over finding a parking spot. The business suspects many Las Vegas site visitors had been parking in their free lots, simply to walk to other non-Caesars properties.
